In Fall 2020, members of Franklin Residential College researched and wrote biographies of persons buried in Gospel Pilgrim Cemetery. These biographies draw on myriad sources, including obituaries, local newspapers, military records, and census records. With these biographies we hope to honor the departed, and shed light upon their lives in Athens and the challenges they faced. Students' completed research can be viewed here.
