Gospel Pilgrim Cemetery Walking Tour

Date: February 20, 2021 from 10:00 to 11:00 am

For Black History Month, the University of Georgia's Department of History and Franklin Residential College is sponsoring a historic walking tour and cemetery clean-up event at Gospel Pilgrim Cemetery in East Athens. Tours will be leaving every half hour at 10:00, 10:30, and 11:00. Face masks and social distancing are required.

UGA students involved in this project will give tours at the direction of Dr. Benjamin Ehlers. Franklin Residential College students will also be working to maintain the cemetery; visitors are welcome to pitch in with these efforts, but are not required to do so.
